Sam had warned her a thousand times, [[but she never listened|Setting]].People had [[recently disappeared|Conflict]] into the vast woods and mountains of Alaska. The weather grew colder each day, until it dropped so low that a person without a fire would freeze to death within an hour. Not to mention the avalanches. The wilderness was a dangerous place.[[If Eva did go|Phone]], she would almost certainly die. [[If she didn't|Didn't Go]], she would be constantly conflicted. It was like being trapped in an avalanche. She truly wanted to photograph wildlife and live off the land. She settled this herself. She would go out and take a phone. [[She dropped it|Climax]] in a river before she reached her destination. Whether it was accidental or on purpose was unknown.Without a phone and with nothing but a camera and a bone-dry water bottle, Eva settled into life in the woods. Storms and avalanches nearly tore her feeble shelter apart, and [[she was constantly hungry|Falling Action]]. Wolves howled only mere miles away, and wild mustangs (probably escaped ranch horses) roamed occasionally. But despite all of it, she was happy. On day one hundred-three, she ran out of the nine rolls of film she had brought along, and decided to head back to civilization, though rather reluctantly. She hit a storm on the way, and was buried in an avalanche. A few hours later, she woke up under snow, with barely any air. She had made a snow cave when she felt a presence above her, and she stayed calm, thinking it was a [[rescue team|Resolution]].It wasn't a rescue team. A mysterious dog had happened to pass by, and began to dig her out. At first glance, it looked like a wolf, but it was much smaller and had darker colors. It must have been a former search-and-rescue dog. Eva... [[Screamed and ran from the dog|Ran]] or [[Allowed the dog to follow her|Conclusion]]As Eva headed home, she reviewed her many photos. They were beautiful, but they could never compete with the real landscape. A few weeks later, she was back out in the woods, ready for more pictures (painted this time) and ready to know the land once again. This is the end. Click [[here|Hook]] to go back to the beginning. Eva never went into the woods, but she took up a job as an environmentalist. She never reached her dream, but she was safe and came very close. This is the end. Click [[here|Hook]] to go back to the beginning.Eva wanted to go, but her friends (such as Sam) didn't want her to go without any sort of connection to civilization. She was urged to take a phone. [[She refused.|Rising Action]] or [[She decided to take one.|Broken Ankle]] It was a good idea to take a phone. Halfway to where she was going, she slipped on a patch of ice and broke her ankle. There wasn't much service, but Eva had a satellite phone. She called the ER and [[she was taken to safety.|Rescue]]After a month in the hospital, Eva's ankle was better, and she wanted to make plans. She decided to... [[Go back in the woods|Climax]] or [[Stay safe at home|Stay Safe]]Eva decided to stay at home where it was safe. She ventured slightly into the woods occasionally, and that was enough for her. This is the end. Click [[here|Hook]] to go back to the beginning. Eva took one look at the dog and ran. She wasn't looking where she was going, and fell into a ravine with an icy lake. The dog dashed forward to help. Eva... [[Allowed the help|Help From Dog]] or [[Refused the help|Refused]] Eva allowed the dog to gingerly take her step by step off the tedious ice. [[She was safe|Conclusion]], and continued on her way. Eva shoved the dog away and crawled toward the edge as quickly as possible. She slipped through the ice and crashed into the water. She pulled herself out, but by the time people found her, she was almost frozen solid. This is the end. Click [[here|Hook]] to go back to the beginning.
